Service Trip-India
The first service team traveled to India recently and based in Udaipur. They had a wonderful and meaningful time working with Foster Care India headed by Ian Forber-Pratt. They delivered books and games on the Book Mobile, which serves children in the poorest areas of the city. Together, they planned parties and activities for children in care and volunteered at the world famous Animal Aide Center. An overnight trip took them to the tribal village of Dungarpur. Most importantly, they learned about and had meaningful interaction with the people of India.
Afterward, about half of the participants continued on to Calcutta to visit the former location of International Mission of Hope (IMH). Some people also went to see the Taj Mahal in Agra.
It was a meaningful and magical journey.
